Taste of Preveza Prawns while the boat is running.
Before we leave Preveza city I bought famous prawns from local market. So sweet and delicious.
There is an article you may like to read “Preveza’s finest delicatessen products” written by Travel.gr
Bond: I’ll have the Preveza prawns, Savara salad and Bourdetto.Kristatos: Oh, an excellent choice, I’ll have the same. – James Bond, For your eyes only 1981
The Amvrakikos shrimps have some of their own characteristics, from which we can distinguish them. Their whiskers are particularly remote, their muzzle protrudes well in front of their eyes and their tail has a bright blue, red and yellow coloration.

June 18th, 2024 Check out of Greece from Corfu. We walk from Mandraki Marina to Corfu new port. (Will passed Corfu old port) corfu new port will see many cruise ships in port.
How to check out from Corfu, Greek to Sarandë, Albania {see map above)
1. Find port police (Prepared boat papers and passport)
2. Go to Ferry new port find passport control no signage no one seemed willing or able to help. Very frustrating time. (the first floor at ferry terminal building.) walk inside a building and go to Ferry Gate to Albania. Let first priority which is a ferry passengers get in first. (Private yacht (us) is a second priority). Then the officer will call private yacht to get inside the room. We gave a paper issued from port police and our passports for the officer to stamp.
3. Return back to port police and give a passports and a paper.
4. Bring a paper to custom office. Finished
5. Leave Greece water within 24 hours.
We started walking from Mandraki marina at 8.30 a.m. and returned to marina at 12.15p.m.! This took longer time than we expected. We check out of marina and motoring out of Greece water. We anchored in front of Sarandë beach at 2.30 p.m.
Leaving Greece to Albania
Hello Albania !
Sarandë {18-20 June 2024}
We used dinghy to reach port of Sarandë. It is the police dock. You have to go through the immigration and customs hall escorted by your agent. Our agent, Saranda summer tour came to meet us at dinghy dock. We stayed in Sarandë only two nights to explore more peaceful place.
While we anchored in Sarandë we did some shopping and then to get back to the boat you have to go back through the immigration and customs hall. If challenged you use the password…private yacht. Worked great just wander in and out. Different but it seemed to work fine.
Sarandë every bit tourist town. Bright colorful and young feel to it. We did not rent a car to drive to the tourist attractions. In the evening, music plays to compete with Muslim religious broadcasting towers. Party pirate boats at night would form a çoğa line through the anchorage weaving though the anchored boats often less than 10 metres away. Albanians are young and not strict religious. different from the Turkish coast who still respect religious ceremonies and more strictly
20th June, 2024 Leave Sarandë at 8.40 a.m. Call harbour master channel 16 to let them know. NW wind 3.8 kts speed 6.7 kts Engine read 244 hours.
12.50 p.m. Docked side tie at Porto Palermo
